I’m excited to be talking about Eroticon 2018 in this post…and not just because I’ve been invited to speak at the event where I’ll be talking on trends in the adult industry but because it’s the UK’s only conference created especially for erotic writers and creatives, sex bloggers and journalists. It might possibly even be the only one of its kind worldwide. I looked online, but couldn’t find any!
Eroticon is an inspiring and unique event that offers a variety of numerous talks and workshops on sex writing, blogging, sexual politics and industry trends. Bringing together experts in their respective fields under one roof over the two day period, to take a look at who’ll be talking click here. There’s even informal evening get-togethers where everyone involved can relax and socialise. It’s a jammed packed weekend extravaganza. It’s not hard to see why the event attracts visitors from all over the world. The 2017 event had attendees from across the UK, Europe, the US, Canada and even from New Zealand.
Established and experienced (and really lovely) sex bloggers, Girl on the Net, Molly Moore and Michael Knight are the creative talents behind Eroticon. Inspired to unite and assist the sex blogger community, the trio took over the event from creator and founder Ruby Kiddell in 2016 with their first Eroticon taking place in 2017. They brought the event to London, along with their invaluable insight and unique style to bring attendees a bigger and better Eroticon each year…And they’ve started by reducing ticket prices for the 2018 event. There’s even a ticket pool, where the organisers have kindly and generously distribute tickets to those who wouldn’t be able to attend otherwise.
Sponsors include Doxy, Hot Octopuss, Mystery Vibe, ElectraStim and Sheets of San Francisco who will be in attendance with their latest pleasure products at their stalls during the conference. You’ll love meeting them too because they’re super nice group of people!
New for 2018 includes the KinkLab, where there will be a showcase featuring fetish techniques and equipment as well as various demos. Guests will be able to watch and join in. I once tried to make a flogger and let’s just say it was a poor (sad looking) effort, but I loved having a go.
There’s also a brilliant opportunity to be featured in the annual Eroticon anthology. Each year Eroticon invites submissions from attendees and speakers, details will be announced soon. It’s a fab way to flaunt your talent and get published. What’s not to love about this?! The 2017 anthology is available to buy now via Amazon.
More importantly to buy tickets (before they completely sell out, the early bird ones are sold out already) click here.
